The Clinical Observation Of The Neck Region Acupucture Along With Deglutition Training In Treating Swallowing Disorders In Pseudobulbar Palsy

Objective:To observe therapic effect of neck region acupucture along with deglutition training in treating swallowing disorders in pseudobulbar palsy,evaluate its effciency,and compare their effcts with only neck region acupucture,so we can gain a new method and clinical foundation.Method:Divide 60 patients of pseudobulbar palsy into 2 teams randomly:the treatment team, acupucture team,.Each team contain 30 persons.In treatment team,we use both neck region acupucture and deglutition training;in acupucture team as its meaning,use only neck region acupucture,so-called neck region acupucture contains7 meridians.Zhjiqiang meridian, Tunyanl meridian.2 teams above take its treatment with rate of 1 time per day,6 days per week,the whole prosess last 6 weeks.And then evaluate their swallowing function before and after the whole treatment, with 2 scales:SSA degree of dysphagia scale and Swallowing Function Evaluation Criteria.Result:1.In improving score of SSA, after compare between treamtment team and acuputure team,result is p<0.01,which means the treatment team have beter achievement than other one.2.In improving score of swallowing function evaluation criteria,compare 2 teams as above,result with p<0.01,which means the treatment team have beter improvement than the other teams in swallowing function evaluation criteria.Conclusion:1.Treatment using both neck region acupucture and deglutition training gain better progress in swallowing function in pseudobulbar palsy than using just neck region acupucture.2.Treatment using both neck region acupucture and deglutition training can get higher progress in SSA after whlole treatment,than the other team.3.Treatment using both neck region acupucture and deglutition training can get higher score in swallowing function evaluation criteria scalethan the other...
