Synthesis And Characterization Of Porphyrin Dimer Nitrous Cations

This thesis studied the synthesis of porphyrin dimer nitrogen cation. We successfully obtained three kinds of mono-substitute porphyrin derivatives and porphyrin dimer compound by acid catalysis. All structures of the synthesized compounds were characterized by 1H NMR, MS, IR and UV-vis.Part 1: The porphyrin dimer was obtained by metallization, formylation and acid catalysis.Part 2: In order to obtain porphyin dimer nitrogen cation, we first make pyridine derivatives into quaternary ammonium salts, then obtained porphyin dimer nitrogen cation under base-catalyzed.
