Purpose:Rectal cancer is the high incidence of malignant tumor in China and the prognosis is poor. To investigate the association between the number of retrieved lymph nodes in rectal cancer radical resection and its prognosis. Methods:The clinical data of 337 patients with rectal cancer were retrospectively analyzed,According to the total number of lymph node cleaning is divided into 5 groups, respectively, l-6 group, 7-11, 12-16, 17-21 group and > 22 groups, association with the survival was analyzed. The Kaplan.Meier method WaS USed to estimate survival as a function of time.and survival differences were analyzed with the log.rank test. The correlation between all dissected and negative lymph nodes was analyzed. The Cox proportional hazard model were used to investigate tIle risk factors for stageâ…˘rectal carcinoma. Results:The overall median survival in 337 patients(overall survival, OS) for 24 months, 1 year, 2 years, 3 years survival rate is respectively: 96%, 91.3%, 85.2%. 3 years survival rate rise along with the increase in disease inspection number of lymph nodes.Multi-factor analysis showed that degree of tumor differentiation, tumor stage, lymph node metastasis, lymph nodes, which were independent factors affect the prognosis of patients and is associated with the prognosis of patients.Single factor analysis showed that the prognosis of patients with rectal cancer is associated with lymph node number detection(P < 0.05).Conclusion: The degree of tumor differentiation, tumor stage, lymph node metastasis, lymph nodes, which is the independent factors influencing the prognosis of patients.Radical rectal cancer, lymph node cleaning the total prognosis significantly related, on the premise of standardization of radical surgery, total number of lymph node cleaning can be used as auxiliary index of judging prognosis.
