Analyzing About Functional Recovery Of The Pelvic Floor After Pelvic Floor Reconstruction Surgery And The Factors Related To The Recovery Of Pelvic Floor Function

Objective: To investigate the functional recovery of the pelvic floor after pelvic floor reconstruction surgery and the factors related to the recovery of pelvic floor function. Methods: Select 52 patients with PFDD who underwent pelvic floor reconstruction surgery from June 2014 to June 2015 in gynecological of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University and pelvic floor muscle strength were measured before the operation. 27 of them served as Study Group and the others served as Observer Group.The Study Group doing the pelvic floor exercises since one month after the operation. No treatment for the Observer Group after the operation. All of the patients measured their pelvic floor muscle strength six month after the operation and completed questionnaire about preoperative and postoperative quality of life.Results: All patients’ objective symptoms were disappear after the operation.The measure result of pelvic floor muscle strength of the patients in study group before and six months after the operation, the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05); Pelvic floor muscle strength of the patients in the Observer Group before and six months after the operation,the difference was not statistically significant(p>0.05). Conclusion:(1) After pelvic floor reconstruction surgery patients’ objective symptoms disappear,there was a significant improvement in their life quality,but reconstruction pelvic surgery just restore the patients’ anatomy of the pelvic floor and can not restore pelvic floor muscle strength and function.(2)Doing pelvic floor exercise after the pelvic reconstruction surgery can improve the muscle strength of pelvic floor.
