Objective Various neuropsychological studies had shown that the decision-making and attention function deficits could occur in a wide range of patients with prefrontal lobe brain tumor. With the Iowa gambling task(IGT) and game of dice task(GDT),experiment compared 38 cases of dorsolateral frontal lobe tumor patients(tumor group)with 30 cases of healthy controls(healthy control group) to investigate the decision-making ability.Method Neuropsychological performance was assessed with the Iowa Gambling Task(decisions under ambiguity) and Game of Dice Task(decisions under risky) and the extensive neuropsychological test batteries in patients of prefrontal lobe brain tumor and30 HC( healthy controls). The extensive neuropsychological test batteries include Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE), Stroop Colour and Word Test, Digit Span Test and Auditory Verbal Learning Test.Result1.There were not statistically significant in aspects of age, education and age with tumor group and healthy control group.2. Expect for Reverse digit span test,There were statistically significant in aspects of mini mental state examination(MMSE), inverse back, Stroop test and avlt memory with tumor group and healthy control group. These statistics show that the dorsolateral tumor were damaged to a certain degree.on the attention, executive function and memory function3. In the Iowa Gambling Task, although the tumor group net score(2.84 + 25.33)was less than in the HC group(9.40 + 18.06), there was no significant difference between the two groups(t=1.197, P=0.235). This date showed there were no obvious damage of the risk probability of unknown.. In the Game of Dice Task, there was no statistically significant difference in the net the GDT score tumor group and the control group, but the selection frequency of 2 digits of tumor group(+ 3.34 2.98) than the healthy group(1.82 + 1.58), the selection frequency of 3 digits of tumor group(3.95 + 2.60) than the healthy group(6.63 + 2.37),. The date showed that there were obvious damage of the decision-making ability of the risk probability of known. Conclusion Experiments showed that the decision-making ability and attention function of the prefrontal lobe tumor patients was significantly impaired, and the separation existed in the decision cognitive processing...
