Objective:Research the Correlation among GIST (Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors) clinical manifestations, pathology and treatment and prognosis. Methods:The clinicopathological and follow-up data of 173 patients between April 2005 to August 2015 in Affiliated Tumor Hospital of Guangxi Medical University.were analyzed retrospectively Factors included gender, age, symptoms, tumor location, size, risk grade,, metastasis, treatment, survival time and so on. To follow-up 173 cases of patients with GIST by telephone or letter. Using SPSS 18.0 software for statistical analysis. Adopting univariate and multivariate survival analysis statistical method to investigate clinicopathological factors influencing on the prognosis of patients with GIST. Results:173 cases of GIST patients, a total of 88 cases of male, female have 85 cases, the minimum 20 years old, maximum 83 years, The average age is 53 years old. The tumors occurred in each parts of digestive tract,104(60.1%) patients located in stomach,44 (25.4%) in small intestine,8 (4.6%) in colorectal, the other 17 cases (9.8%, including 8 cases in retroperitoneal,2cases in omentum,2 cases in pancreas,3 cases in uterus and Annex,1 case in adrenal gland,1 case in esophageal. Surgical treatment of 173 cases (R0 resection rate of 93.1%), postoperative pathological diagnosis and immunohistochemistry were diagnosed as GIST.92 cases of Postoperative patients with GIST had accepted mesylate imatinib targeted therapy. The survival rates of 1,3,5 year were 88.4%、78.1%、and 60.6%. By Kaplan-Meier Act (Log-rank Inspection) univariate analysis shows that tumor size, capsule integrity, surgical approach, Mitotic figures, NIH grading and GIST 5-year survival ratea and b were closely related. Multivariate survival analysis using Cox regression model visible Mitotic figures, surgical, imatini targeted therapy were independent prognostic factors.Conclusion:1.The prognosis is closely related with surgical resection, tumor size, number of mitotic figures and NIH classification. Wherein the Mitotic figures, surgical, imatini targeted therapy is the independent factor in survival of patients.2.After regular use of imatinib improved the prognosis of patients with GIST, particularly in high-risk GIST patients.
