| Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn. is the green radicle in the middle of Mature seeds from water lily plant lotus Nelumbo, also it is lotus seed embryos without the cotyledons. Its figure is slightly thin rods and it looks like green. Its length is 1 ~ 1.5 cm with a diameter of about 2 mm. Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn. is the herbs in "Chinese Pharmacopoeia", grown widely, very rich in resources, as civilian applications wildly and there is an important therapeutic role. Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn. is bitter, cold in Chinese traditional medicinal feature. Purify mind, remove heat, stop bleeding and samen, cure irritability, thirst, vomiting and nocturnal emission, smooth breath in five internal organs. Studies on its chemical composition is mainly focused on two types of compounds :alkaloids and flavonoids containing Liensinine, isoliensinine, Neferine, nuciferine, Pronuciferine, Lotusine, N-Methyl-1-methyl-corypalline, Demethyl-Coclaurine, but also containing hyperoside, rutin and other flavonoids. There are extensive pharmacological effects of alkaloids on the cardiovascular system and strong activities, including antiarrhythmic and antihypertensive effect. Recent studies also have good anti-cancer effects and cancer adjuvant therapy. In this study, in the ethanol extract from Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn. 30 compounds were isolated, and then 23 compounds were identified by spectral analysis and chemical methods, meanwhile the compound SL-1, SL-6, SL-7, SL-9, SL-10, SL-17, SL-21, SL-22, SL-23 were firstly isolated from this genus.Soybean, an annual herbage, belongs to Glycine, Phaseoleae, Papilionaceae, Leg uminose, which is widely distributed all around the world. It is one of the most im portant commercial crops and food crops. The chemical constituents of soybean are complex, the mainly constituents are flavonoids, soyasaponin, soyprotein, granuleste n, soybean dietary fiber, unsaturated fatty acids, phytosterol and alkaloid etc. Moder n research shows that soyasaponins have pharmacological effects of anti-tumor, antibacterial, anti-oxidation, anti-inflammatory, prevention and treatment of cardiovascula r diseases and so on. Soybean have the significance for further research either as food or medicine. In the paper, systematic study about the chemical composition of soybeans collected from Jiangsu Province, n-butanol fraction of dried pods. The che mical constituents were isolated by silica gel chromatography, MCI resin, Sephadex LH-20 gel column chromatography, medium pressure column chromatography, and semi-preparative liquid chromatography, and their structures were elucidated by che mical properties and spectroscopic analyses., and 9 compounds were isolated and id entified from soybean pods.Compounds SJ-3, SJ-5, SJ-11, SJ-16, SJ-17 are new c ompounds, and their structures were identified as: 3β-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→2)-β-D-glucopyranosy-(1→2)-β-D-glucuronopyranoside-20-hydroxy-29α, 30β-dimethyl-urso lic acid(SJ-3), 3β-O- α-L- rhamnopyranosyl-(1→2)-β-D-glucopyranosy-(1→2)-β-D-gl ucuronopyranoside-3β, 22β, 24β-trihydroxy-12-ene-29-oleanolic acid(SJ-5), 3β-O-α-Lrhamnopyranosyl-(1→3)-β-D-mannopyranosyl-(1→2)-β-D-glucuronopyranoside-3β, 22β, 24β- trihydroxy-12-ene-29- oleanolic acid(SJ-11), 3β-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→2)-β-D-galactopyranosyl-(1→2)-β-D-glucuronopyranoside-3β, 24β- dihydroxy-22-car bonyl-12-en-29-oleanolic acid(SJ-16); 3β-O-α-L- rhamnopyranosyl-(1→2)-β-D- gl ucopyranosy-(1→2)-β-D- glucuronopyranoside-3β, 24β- dihydroxy-22-carbonyl-12-en-29-oleanolic acid(SJ-17). |
