Medical device testing information platform as an important manifestation of food and drug testing laboratory information management level, which also plays an important role in safeguarding the medical device detection process. Today’s society a wide range of medical equipment after another, the traditional medical device testing information platform under the current form, has gradually revealed its shortcomings, first of all, the traditional software platform could not do the actual needs in the current environment; Secondly, the traditional software platforms running speed can not meet the development needs of modern medical equipment testing laboratory, inefficient; and finally, due to the different situation of each region, medical device testing business processes are also different, testing no uniform standard. In view of this situation, the paper by means of cloud computing technology to build an information management platform for medical device testing, in order to enhance the level of modern management of the laboratory. The establishment of the platform is rapidly increasing laboratory management and effective way to improve their competitiveness.With the help of the technology of cloud computing, cloud computing framework Hadoop and MapReduce, distributed file system HDFS, distributed open source database HBase and other advanced technologies, an informationised medical device testing platform is constructed in this article. The inspection reports are stored in a distributed way and a virtualized storage server is introduced to solve the problems of waste and redundancy of the hardware resources, load balancing, the share of the data resources, real-time data backup, live migration and so on. And the robustness of the system is then improved. The reliability and scalability of the system are also guaranteed.The mainly work of the article are concluded as follows:1) An in-depth and detailed analysis has been made for the requirements of the informationized medical device testing platform and product testing process, based of which a detail plan and design of the database and overall structure of the system.2) A Hadoop-based cloud computing platform is constructed on the Windows system. The HBase database is configured, the application of the distributed file system HDFS and distributed database HBase are analyzed and designed.3) A medical device testing system is finally implemented based on the cloud platform Hadoop. Different operation authorities are set for users of different level. Basic operations such as data creation, read, update and delete are available. Testing reports can also be printed, backed up and exported in the system.The medical device testing information platform based on cloud computing in this paper are easy maintenance, security, efficiency, etc., and solved the problems existed in the conventional testing platform. This platform created a new type of LIMS based on cloud computing for medical device testing industry.
