ObjectiveThrough clinical observation the therapeutic effect of acupuncture on patients with chronic neck pain by observing the acupuncture point and non acupuncture point, and to explore whether there is a specific and placebo effect in acupuncture treatment of pain.MethodsThis topic for acupoint and non acupoint acupuncture therapy clinical study of chronic neck pain and has been approved by the ethics committee of Guangdong Province Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine ethical review board, and registered in the Chinese clinical trial register center, registration number for the ChiCTR-IOR-15006886, mainly recruited by neck pain complaints in patients with chronic neck pain into accord with the standard of 70 cases of subjects, in accordance with the principle of completely randomized grouping, will meet the clinical requirements of the subjects were randomly divided into 3 groups:acupuncture group and non acupoint superficial acupuncture group and non acupoint deep needling group. Acupuncture group selected bilateral carotid Bailao, shoulder acupoint and non acupoint superficial needling and non acupoint deep needling group were selected bilateral carotid Bailao, shoulder Yu Wai (in addition to Ashi point 1cm acupuncture point; acupuncture group and non acupoint of deep needling the acupuncture group and the depth of 10 to 20mm, non acupoint superficial needling group needling depth<5mm, direction of acupuncture in three groups were is perpendicularly, the use G6805-I type electric acupuncture therapeutic instrument given certain electrical stimulation stimulation, three times a week,2-3 days time, every time 25min, a total of 10 times. Every time before and after the treatment were recorded in VAS scores and tenderness score threshold and then the condition of acupuncture or adverse reactions, gas situation; in before the first acupuncture treatment, the five times after treatment and after the end of the course to give patients NPQ to record table score and the short form McGill quantity. After the end of the course of treatment (10 times after acupuncture) using statistical software spss22.0 for statistical analysis.ResultsIn this study,70 cases of chronic neck pain were completed, including 24 cases of acupuncture group and 23 cases of non acupuncture point deep needling and shallow needling group,5 cases were all dropped. There was no significant difference in baseline conditions between the three groups (P>0.05). Within group comparison:(1) acupoint acupuncture group, the 5,10 times of acupuncture treatment of NPQ, McGill, VAS scores were lower than the first before acupuncture reduce (P< 0.05), acupuncture group for the 10th time acupuncture treatment of NPQ, McGill, VAS score than the 5 times acupuncture before decreased (P< 0.05);(2) non acupoint superficial needling group for the 10th time acupuncture before NPQ, McGill, VAS score compared with the first acupuncture treatment decreased (P<0.05), non acupoint superficial acupuncture group 5 times of acupuncture VAS score than the 1 pinprick treatment decreased (P< 0.05), non acupoint superficial acupuncture group for the 10th time acupuncture pain threshold score compared with the 1,5 times acupuncture treatment increased (P< 0.05);(3) non acupoint deep needling group 5,10 times of acupuncture therapy NPQ, McGill, VAS score were higher than before the first acupuncture reduce (P< 0.05), non acupoint deep needling group for the 10th time acupuncture NPQ, McGill, VAS score compared with the acupuncture treatment decreased (P< 0.05). Between group effects:A. acupuncture group and non acupoint shallow thorn group pairwise comparison of NPQ, mcgil, pressure pain threshold effect difference had statistical significance (P< 0.05); B. acupuncture group and non acupoint deep needling group pairwise comparison of NPQ table curative effect score difference was statistically significant (P< 0.05); C. non acupoint superficial acupuncture group and non acupoint needling group pairwise comparison of NPQ, mcgil and vas table curative effect score difference was statistically significant (P< 0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture treatment of acupuncture group, acupuncture group and non acupoint group and non acupoint group were effective in treatment of chronic neck pain:1) electroacupuncture for treatment of chronic neck pain;2) the specificity of acupoints in acupuncture treatment of pain is not obvious;3) acupuncture treatment of chronic neck pain with a certain placebo effect.
