Objective:This paper is aim to summerize our hospital’s brain neuroepithelial tumors’ major clinical and pathological features, and discover the correlation between the location of the brain neuroepithelial tumors and the nature of the tumors, analysis of the factors that affect its prognosis, and discusses the reason. To provide meaningful clinical information for Brain epithelial tumors’prevention and treatment. Methods:We collect the three years’treated 574 cases of the clinical and pathological datas of neuroepithelial tumor patients in the second affiliated hospital of zhejiang university from April 2012 to April 2015.Overall analysis of regularity between age, sex, tumor location with their pathological types. Then by using specific statistical methods analysis the correlation between the location of the gliomas and the nature of the tumor.analysis between high grade glioma with low grade gliomas, glioblastoma, and oligodendrocytes gliomas.Statistical analysis of factors that affect its prognosis. The results were statistically significant ifp<0.05.Result:1.Our hospital,a total of 574 patients with brain neuroepithelial tumor;there were 321 males and 253 females; The most common pathological types was glioblastoma,a total of 215 cases, accounting for 37.5%.Mainly distributed in the ages of 40 to 49 and 50 to 59,tumors were mainly located in the frontal and temporal lobes, respectively 201 and 106cases, and the number of supratentoriatumors were significantly higher than the numbers of under the Tentorium cerebelli’s tumors (p< 0.05).2.For low grade gliomas were more likely to happen seizures and occurre in <50years of age than high grade gliomas(p<0.001);their location distribution had a significant difference(p<0.001); High grade gliomas more occurred on the right side than low level, low grade glioma more occurred on the left side (p<0.05);Glioblastoma more occurred after age 50 (p<<0.001)and more occurred in the temporal lobe than other gliomas.(p<0.05);their sides distribution also had a significant difference(p= 0.003);oligodendrocytes gliomas more occurred in frontal lobe and less occurred in the temporal lobe (p<0.05);oligodendrocytes gliomas did not occur in the midline or double sides and more occurred on the left side than right side, more likely to happen seizures than other gliomas (p=0.007)3.The independent factors affected the prognosis of patients with brain neuroepithelial tumor were the age of patients, tumors location, tumors WHO pathological types and tumor pathology classification of WHO. Conclusions:The location of the brain neuroepithelial tumors is closely related to the nature of the tumors; The age of patients、location and WHO pathological types of gliomas were independent factors influenced gliomas prognosis.
