Objective:" inflammation-cancer transformation"means the malignant transformation of nonresolving inflammation, has a complicated pathological mechanism,and it is now a hot spot in medicine research, Master the pathological mechanism of " inflammation-cancer transformation" is an important way to prevent and blocking the process of tumor. TCM emphasize on the preventive treatment of disease,and has a unique theoretical system in the treatment of diseases.But the theory of etiology and pathogenesis in "inflammation-cancer transformation" has not been explained in Chinese medicine. So,to explore the etiology and pathogenesis of "inflammation-cancer transformation" in traditional Chinese medicine has a certain theoretical and clinical value. Ancient literature, modern physicians treatment experience and clinical research have been consulted to sum up the universal law of inflammation-cancer transformation, and to provide theoretical and clinical basis for the theory of etiology, pathogenesis and therapies of "inflammation-cancer transformation".Methods:1.Theoretical research:(1)Refers to the description of inflammation-cancer transformation in modern medicine, sums up the research progress about inflammation-cancer transformation in western medicine, and find out the disease models of the disease relate to inflammation-cancer transformation.(2)Refers to the ancient literature in Chinese traditional medicine, modern clinical research and the reports of treatment experience from famous doctors, and sums up the related theory of inflammation-cancer transformation. Taking the process of chronic atrophic gastritis to gastric cancer, chronic hepatitis B to liver cancer, chronic ulcerative colitis to colon cancer, chronic cervicitis to cervical cancer as four examples to discuss and summarize the etiology,pathogenesis and treatment methods in TCM of these disease, and then summing up the general law of the transformation in inflammation and cancer.Documentary Research:(1):Objective:Take Precancerous lesions of gastric cancer (PLGC) as an example,to explore the common law of the etiology and pathogenesis in inflammation-cancer transformation and the commonly used treatment.Methods:Through collecting and analyzing the related literatures on TCM treatment of PLGC basing on reserching in CNKI and WANFANG DATA, explore and summarize the regularity of the PLGC in its etiology and pathogenesis,Commonly used drugs and treatments through the collected data by using EXCEL and SPSS 19.0 as Statistical tools.Finally, Summed up the general law of "inflammation-cancer transformation".(3)Results:A total of 85 literatures are taken into account, the etiology and pathogenesis of PLGC including Qi deficiency, blood stasis, Qi depression, damp, heat, deficiency of Yin, toxin, Phlegm, deficiency of Yang, cold, dyspepsia, deficiency of blood,etc. The location of it are The spleen, stomach, liver and kidney. The clinical commonly used drugs including Atractylodes, rhizoma zedoariae, liquorice, salvia miltiorrhiza, spreading hedyotis herb, radix paeoniae alba, astragalus, codonopsis, rhizoma coptidis, pinellia, coix seed, poria cocos, bitter orange, radix scutellariae, barbed skullcap herb, dandelion, chicken’s gizzard-membrane, dwarf lilyturf, angelica, dried tangerine or orange peel, radix bupleuri, radix pseudostellariae, caulis dendrobii, straight ladybell, yanhusuo, magnolia bark, notoginseng, bergamot, lily, hawthorn, etc. The treatments of PLGC are tonifying qi and nourishing yin, clearing damp, clearing heat,regulating qi, activating blood, detoxicating, eliminating stagnation, nourishing blood, promoting digestion, dispelling cold, relieving hyperacidity,etc.(4)Conclusion:The pathogenesis of PLGC can be summarized in deficient root with excess branch, excess branch as blood stasis, hot and damp, Qi depression, deficient root as deficiency of Qi, deficiency of Yin. The treatment of PLGC can be summarized in supplying deficiency and expelling excess, invigorating the spleen supplementing qi and nourishing yin can be the common way of supplying deficiency, and clearing away heat and eliminating dampeness, relief liver for smooth Qi, promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis, removing toxic material and stasis can be the common way of expelling excess. So, it is similar to the inflammation-cancer transformation, and removing toxic material and stasis may be taken a high attention to in the treatment.3.Basing on the general law,make a deep exposition about the theory of etiology and pathogenesis in "inflammation- cancer transformation" from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, and make a brief concluding in the treatment.Conclusion:During the long-term process of chronic inflammatory disease,deficiency of vital Qi is considered as the intrinsic factor of the disease developing and vital Qi deficiency while pathogenic Qi prevailing is the important condition of it.Getting external evil, emotions disorders, improper diet,overstrain, excessive easy and comfortable and accumulation of pathological factors such as phlegm, blood stasis etc.,all these factors may accelerate the progress of the disease. Finally, vital Qi deficiency while pathogenic Qi prevailing, imbalance of Yin and Yang and disorder of Qi and blood, leading to harmful substance blocking for a long time and pathological products such as damp and hot,phlegm-damp,blood stasis accumulating, all the pathological products blocked and turned into damp and hot,sputum stasis,toxic factors,stagnating in the body, strugglling in Zang-fu organs, and then becoming the unhealthy influences with shapes, collecting the essence of the human body to growing up,then tumor comes into being. So, changing in diet and daily life, lifestyle and mind can be a effective way to prevent inflammation- cancer transformation. To slow down or reverse the process of "inflammation-cancer transformation", supplying deficiency and expelling excess may be taken on the base of syndrome differentiation and treatment to the treatment, and adjusting viscera qi and blood, Yin and Yang, removing toxic material and stasis may be put a great attention on during the whole treatment progress.
