The Clinical Research Of Treatment Of Shugan Ningxin Formula Combined With Endocrine Therapy For Premenopausal Breast Cancer

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of the Shugan Ningxin formula combined with Tamoxifen on anti-neoplastic therapy. Then discuss the mechanism of the Shugan Ningxin formula from the aspects of theory and clinical research.Method:40 breast cancers met the enter criteria were randomized into two groups:The treatment group 20 cases, using with Tamoxifen and Shugan Ningxin Formula; the control group 20 cases, taking Tamoxifen orally only. The two groups were compared with DFS and menstruation, estrogen level, tumor markers level and cytokines changes after 6 months, then we will analysis the results and get conclusions.Results:1. DFS and menstruation:The patients of two groups live without tumor recurrence and metastasis. In the treatment group,17 cases occurred amenorrhea,100%. And 13 cases occurred amenorrhea and the total effective rate was 45% in control group. The difference was statistically significant.2.Tumor markers:The tumor markers of both groups were in normal level and decreased after treatment. But the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).3.Cytokines:Treated with the Shugan Ningxin formula, the cytokines IL-6, IL-8 and TNF-a of treatment group were decreased and lower than the control group, which was tatistically significant(P<0.05), indicating that Shugan Ningxin formula can improve the effect of anti-neoplastic therapy of Tamoxifen.4.Estrogen level:The estrogen level of both groups rose and the treatment group is lower than another, which difference was statistically significant(P<0.05), indicating that the Shugan Ningxin formula can alleviate the rise of estrogen caused by Tamoxifen and improve the therapeutic effects of TAM.Conclusion:The Shugan Ningxin formula doesn’t reduce the effects while relieving the side effects of Tamoxifen. By the research, we known that the formula can accelerate menelipsis occurs,relieve the rising of estrogen caused by Tamoxifen, reduce the level of cytokines(IL-6, IL-8 and TNF-a), improve the effect of anti-neoplastic therapy.
