Heart sound is an impotant and complicated physiological signal of hunman body, which contains a large number of information. Study on heart sound synthesis has three main aims: first, to generate heart sound signal; second, the synthesis heart sound signal can be used as ideal controllable heart sound source without noise; third, to provide an ideal evaluation source for heart sound algorithm. This paper presents a composite generating model of realistic synthetic heart sound based on heart’s parameters and explores its application in heart sound hupnosis music.First of all, a model of heart sound synthesis is constructed from the generation mechanism of the heart sound and the chaotic characteristics of the heart sound. The model has the following three important characteristics:first, the proposed model allows a large number of known heart sound features to be taken into consideration, and have direct contact with heart activity; second, the proposed model takes the chaotic characteristic of realistic heart sound sinal into consideration, and similar to realistic heart sound signal, synthetic heart sound signals generated by the proposed model are also chaotic; third, the proposed model introduces a simplified simulation model of heart activity.Secondly, from the three angles: time domain waveform, frequency domain energy and chaotic characteristic, synthetic heart sound signals generated by the proposed model are evaluated. And the proposed model parameters are modified to synthesize the two groups of the heart sound signals in pathological conditions.Finally, based on the proposed model, a method of using heart sound to modulate the sleeping music is proposed.The proposed model can not only generate the effective normal heart sound signals, but also can generate the effective pathological heart sound signals,and can be used to produce adaptive heart sound hypnosis music. These results have theoretical significance and practical value in promoting the research and application of synthetic heart sound.
