Objective:To investigate the correlation of the type of peritoneal transport, nutritional status and inflammation in peritoneal dialysis patients at Xining City.Method:1.During March 2014 to June 2015,randomly selected 92 chronic renal failure patients as the research object, which received peritoneal dialysis for at least 3 months or more in our hospital.2.Collect all the patients age, sex, protopathy, height, weight, body mass index(BMI), body surface area(BSA), hemoglobin, total protein, serum albumin, pre-albumin, blood urea nitrogen, serum creatinine, kt/V, high density lipoprotein, low density lipoprotein, triglycerides, total cholesterol, high sensitivity C-reactive protein, IL-6, TNF- a,and other biochemistry data.3.Peritoneal equilibration test(PET):Adopt the standard 4 hours peritoneal equilibration test method proposed by Twardowski, to assess peritoneal transport characteristics of all the subjects.According to the type of peritoneal transport, all the patients will be divided into the high transport(A), high average(B), low average(C) and low transport(D) group.4.Using serum albumin and other laboratory indicators to evaluate the patients` nutritional status.5.Residual renal function(RRF):Using the MDRD formula to estimate the residual renal function of the patients in this study.Results:1.Peritoneal transport type distribution in this study: The A group(high transport group) has 16 cases(accounts for 17.3%); The B group(high average transport group) has 40 cases(accounts for 43.5%); Group C(low average transport group) has 26 cases(accounts for 28.3%); Group D(low transport group) has 10 cases(accounts for 10.9%);2.The relationship between peritoneal transport type and nutrition:Selected total protein, serum albumin, globulin, uric acid and pre-albumin as indexes to evaluate the nutritional status of the patients, and albumin was the main observation index.Peritoneal transport type and plasma albumin: Measuring the serum albumin level of different transport type, respectively serum albumin values are(31.95±3.11) g/l,(34.67±4.52)g/l,(35.95±6.43)g/l and(40.78±6.52)g/l.The higher the transport type, the higher the albumin level.Nutritional status of group D(low transport) has the best nutritional status, nutritional status of group A( high transport) has the worst nutritional status.3.Peritoneal transport type and inflammation:(1)Measuring the TNF-α values of different transport type, respectively(76.71±30.79) pg/ml,(68.9±25.5) pg/ml,(57.77±26.05) pg/ml and(56.13±19.72) pg/ml.Comparing the TNF-α values of high and low transport groups, the difference is significant(P<0.05);(2)Measuring the IL-6 values of different transport type, respectively(22.65±9.79) pg/ml,(18.39±6.2) pg/ml,(15.35 ±4.88)pg/ml and(17.59±3.89) pg/ml, high transport and low transport IL-6 value was compared, the difference has no statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusions:1.From the results, we can see that the high transport type in peritoneal dialysis patients number is more then peritoneal dialysis patients with lower transport;2.Peritoneal permeability and the level of plasma albumin levels negatively correlated with higher lower albumin transport type;3.The inflammatory factor level is positively correlated with transport type. The higher the transport type, the higher the inflammatory factor level.
