Objective: The aim of this study is to establish a model of experimental animal at the simulation of high altitude, we research on the changes of SOD activity and MDA content in rat pulmonary tissue. This study aims to explore the effect of SOD activity and MDA content under different time in hypoxia environment and provide a theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of oxidative damage to the body. Methods: 48 grown-up health clean male Wistar rats are selected, we randomly divide them into 2 groups, low altitude group and high altitude group. According to the observation time, high altitude group is divided into 5 groups, every group have 8 rats, high attitude1,3,7,15,30 days groups, The lung tissue of rats are collected at different time point,WST-1 method is used to detect the activity of SOD,TBA method is used to detect the content of MDA. Results: Rapidly entered the high altitude environment, the lung tissue of high altitude group SOD increase higher than low altitude group(P<0.05). In high altitude group the SOD activity decrease(P<0.05) with prolonged the low oxygen time. With the extension time, the MDA contend increase gradually(P<0.05). Conclusions: 1. Rapidly entered the high altitude environment, the lung tissue SOD increase gradually to protect cells from oxidative damage. 2.With the extension time, the SOD was decreasing, the antioxidant ability is weaken. The MDA was increasing, lipid peroxidation was more and more serious, the lung oxidative damage response more and more serious.
