Objective:The aim of this study was to measure the contents of serum Neuropeptide Y(NPY),Substance P(SP) and Calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP) and explore their influences on the occurrence of adverse cardiovascular events(ACVE) in diabetic patients during cholecystectomy Perioperative period.Methods:77 cases of patients with cholecystectomy under general anesthesia were divided into control group(C group, n=42) and diabetic group(DM group, n=35). General information like Age, sex, ASA, weight, blood glucose, blood lipid, creatinine etc were recorded before operation; The blood pressure, heart rate, pulse oxygen saturation and electrocardiogram changes were seriously observed during operation, At the same time,intra-operative fluid volume, operation time, anesthesia drugs and anesthesia time in each group were recorded; The contents of SP and CGRP at pre-operation, end-operation,cardiac troponin I(cTnI) at pre-operation, 24 h after-operation and NPY at pre-operation,end-operation, 24 h after-operation were determined by enzyme linked immune sorbent assay(ELISA).Results:Compared with the control group, the serum NPY levels in DM group were higher at pre-operation, end-operation and 24 h after-operation period(P<0.05); the contents of serum SP and CGRP at pre-operation, end-operation were lower(P<0.05); while, the contents of serum cTnI at pre-operation, 24 h after-operation were higher(P<0.05) in diabetic group patients. at the same time, the incidence of adverse cardiovascular events in diabetic group patients during cholecystectomy perioperative period was higher(P<0.05). Compared with the non-adverse cardiovascular event(NACVE) patients, the contents of serum NPY at pre-operation, 24 h after-operation and cTnI at 24 h after-operation in the adverse cardiovascular event patients were higher in the perioperative period(P<0.05); the contents of serum SP at end-operation were lower(P<0.05); while, the contents of serum CGRP showed no significant change(P>0.05).Compared with the non-adverse cardiovascular event in diabetic mellitus(DM-NACVE),the number of NPY, cTnI were higher, the number of SP, CGRP were lower, but both had no significant change(P>0.05) in diabetic mellitus who had adverse cardiovascular event(DM-ACVE).Conclusion:The contents of NPY were higher, the contents of SP, CGRP were lower in diabetic patients, all the change of neuropeptide may be associated with the occurrence of perioperative adverse cardiovascular events.
