Part one The memory impairment and the change of function about corresponding brain regions in patients with PTSDObject To study the memory impairment and the change of function about corresponding brain regions in PTSD patients.methods All participants came from a class 3-A hospital from October 2014 to December 2015.Because of the existence of research object and avoid the interference of body disease, 8 cases of PTSD were followed up and 7 cases were non PTSD. All cases were asked to complete general situation questionnaire, post traumatic stress disorder checklist civilian version(PCL-C), wechisler memory scale(WMS), resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging(Rs-f MRI) in two weeks. An assessment of PCL-C in participants after one month of traumatic event, and two psychiatrists were responsible for the diagnosis of PTSD. Collecting PCL-C, WMS and Rs-f MRI after 3 months traumatic event. Results 1. Comparing with non PTSD group, the regeneration and recite number memory reduced in PTSD patients after traumatic event 2 weeks, and the picture, recognition, regeneration, association, comprehension and recite number memory of PTSD patients were reduced after traumatic event 3months, there were statistically significant difference(P<0.05). 2. During the resting state, comparing with non PTSD group, the Re Ho values decreased in right middle temporal gyrus, right occipital lobe, left inferior temporal gyrus and right precentral gyrus of the PTSD patients. However, in the left cerebellum, left inferior frontal gyrus, left superior temporal gyrus, left thalamus, right middle occipital gyrus, right middle cingulated gyrus, right paracentral lobule/ precuneus, right superior frontal gyrus regions of the brain Re Ho is elevated. Compareing tr aumatic event early and after 3 months, we found that the brain function of left cingulate gyrus, right precuneus, left parietal lobe are decreased in PTSD patients, and the function of brain regions with the increase in right middle frontal gyrus, right inferior frontal gyrus, left superior frontal gyrus. 3.The mean Re Ho value of the left thalamus in PTSD patients was positively correlated with the associative memory(r=0.719, P=0.044), and the correlation between the residual brain regions(P>0.05) and the memory score was not found. Conclusions 1.There is impaired memory in PTSD patients. 2.In the resting state, the local brain functional activity of PTSD patients is reduced and enhanced, while the activation of some brain areas in PTSD patients decreased and increased with time after trauma. 3.The change of cerebral local consistency may be related to the abnormal memory function in PTSD patients.Part two The observation of autobiographical memory impairment in PTSD patientsObject To investigate the damage of autobiographical memory in PTSD patients. Methods Selecting participants from October 2014 to July 2015 in a top three hospital to meet the conditions of experiment. PTSD group: 20 PTSD patients; Non-PTSD group: 20 cases who experienced traumatic events, but did not developed into PTSD; Normal control group:20 participants. All test subjects received general information investigation, autobiographical memory(AMT), posttraumatic stress disorder table civilian Version(PCL-C). The data was analyzed by SPSS19.0 statistical software, P<0.05 bilateral test, and the results were statistically significant. Results 1. PTSD and non PTSD group were compared with control group, there were statistically significant in the symptoms of PTSD scale, the total score of autobiographical memory, positive and negative clues(P<0.05). 2.There were statistically significant in the symptoms of PTSD scale, the total score of autobiographical memory, positive clues between PTSD and non PTSD group(P<0.05), and they had no significant difference in the memory of negative clues(P>0.05). 3.The total points of autobiographical memory and PTSD symptons were showed significantly negative correlation(Numbness and avoidance:r=-0.772,Re-experience:r=-0.723,Increased alertness:r=-0.741, the total score of PCL-C:r=-0.801).Conclusions: 1. Autobiographical memory reduced obviously in PTSD patients. 2. The more serious symptoms of PTSD, the less extraction of autobiographical memory after traumatic event.
