| ObjectiveTo detect the plasma levels of 3-mercaptopyruvate sulfurtransferase(3-MST) and beta amyloid protein(Aβ42) in patients with acute cerebral infarction, and to explore the significance.MethodsFifty tow patient with acute cerebral infaction admitted in our hospital from October 2013 to November 2014 were recruited in this study, and another 35 healthy individuals taking physical examination at same period served as normal control. The plasma levels of 3MST and Aβ42 were detected in both groups by ElISA,and the relationship of plasma 3MST and Aβ42 content differences with cerebral infarction was analysed.ResultsThe plasma content of 3-MST in patients with acute cerebral infarction was decreased compared to control group(3.67±0.29 ng/mL VS4.98±0.30 ng/mL, P < 0.05), but that of Aβ42 was obviously high(44.52±2.92 pg/mL VS 15.77±1.71 pg/mL), P<0.05.Among the patients with acute cerebral infarction, The plasma content of 3-MST was decreasedwith the large of cerebral infarction volume and the increase of National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) score, while that of Aβ42 was increased with the changes.ConclusionThe plasma level of 3-MST is abnormally decreased, while that of Aβ42 significantly elevated in patients with acute cerebral infarction;and we suppose that the changes may be related with the serevity of neurologic deficits and infarct volume. |
