Objective: Optical coherence tomography(OCT)can check macular morphology on each tier detailedly, while multifocal-electroretinogram(mf-ERG) can reflect macular function objectively. To evaluate the effection of intravitreal injection of conbercept for wet age-related macular degeneration(wAMD),we combine OCT with mf-ERG,in order to study the correlation,in pretherapy and post-treatment.Methods: The 28 eyes, in primary diagnosis of wAMD established through full ocular examination of dilated fundus,FFA,ICGA,OCTand mf-ERG, accepted the intravitreal injection of Conbercept(0.5mg/0.05ml) during June 2015 to February 2016, ruled out the surgery taboo. One month later we followed up and recorded these patients’ best corrected visual acuity(BCVA)、central retinal thickness(CRT)、P1 wave’s amplitude density and incubation period of R1.Paired T test were used comparing the difference before and after treatment and Bivariate correlation analysis were used evaluating the relativity between macular morphology and retinal function. From the statistically analyzed by Spss 19.0, there was a significant difference when P<0.05.Results: One month later, the 28 eyes accepted the intravitreal injection of Conbercept, whose BCVA was better and CRT was decreased compared with former, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),P1 wave’s amplitude density of R1 was higher compared with preoperative result, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05),while P1 wave’s incubation period of R1 had no obvious change compared with before, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).P1 wave’s amplitude density of R1 and CRT had a significant negative correlation in both before and after treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Subconjunctival hemorrhage and corneal epithelial abrasionin appeared each in two cases, which fully recovered after one-week treatment.28 eyes’ intraocular pressure were all in normal range, eyes’ intraocular pressure had no obvious change pre-and-post treatment, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusions: One month after the 28 eyes accepted the intravitreal injection of Conbercept,BCVA、P1 wave’s amplitude density of R1、CRT had obvious changes compared with before,at the same time,P1 wave’s amplitude density of R1、CRT had a significant negative correlation in pretherapy and post-treatment.During therapy, significant adverse reactions has little appeared among the 28 eyes. From what has been discussed above, this study confirmed that the intravitreal injection of conbercept for treating wAMD was safe and effective, combining OCT with mf-ERG could evaluate the effection of intravitreal injection of conbercept for wAMD more objectively and comprehensively.
