Abstract/Summary:
Objective:To investigate the IL-17、adiponectin level in patients of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis(HT) in Tai Yuan,Shan Xi province, discuss the relationship between them and HT,provide a new way of thinking for the pathogenesis of HT,thus offer a new means for the treatment of HT.Methods:Choose 100 cases including patients and healthy subjects according to the inclus ion criteria among thyroid diseases physical examination people from April 2015 to September 2015 in Tai Yuan,Shan Xi province. They were categorized into 4 groups:10 cases of normal control group(NC group), 30 cases of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis with hypothyroidism(HT hypothyroidism group), 30 cases of Hashimoto’s thyroiditi s with subclinical hypothyroidism(HT subclinical hypothyroidism group), 30 cases of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis with euthyroidism.(HT euthyroidism group). The above f our groups of cases ruled out the recent history of infection, women’s pregnancy, seri ous complications, merge history of other autoimmune diseases. The data of the cases such as serial number, gender, age, thyroid function(TSH、TPOAb、Tg Ab,TSH inc reased need measure FT4),thyroid ultrasound were recorded. The levels of IL-17、a diponectin for each group were measured by Enzyme-linked immuno sorbent assay(ELISA). Analyze the changes of IL-17 and adiponectin level in patients of Hashim oto’s thyroiditis.Results:1.The level of IL-17 in control group was significantly lower than that in HT h ypothyroidism group(7.39 ± 2.01pg/m vs 9.13 ± 1.95pg/ml)and was slightly low er than that of HT subclinical hypothyroidism group(7.39 ± 2.01pg/ml vs 8.83 ± 1.86pg/ml), there were statisticall significance compared with control group(P < 0.05),there was statistical significance between the HT hypothyroidism group and HT sub clinical hypothyroidism group, while in HT euthyroidism group, there was no statistica l significance compared with the control group.2.The level of APN in control group was lower than that in HT hypothyroidism group(5.86 ± 1.32ug/ml vs 7.50 ± 2.20ug/ml), there was statistical significance(P< 0.05).While there was no statistically significant difference in each other groups.3.The level of IL-17 and TSH(r=0.348 P<0.001)、TPOAb(r=0.248 P=0.006)were significantly positive correlation. The level of APN and TSH(r=0.149 P=0.07)、TPOAb(r=0.091 P=0.184)was no correlation.Conclusions:1.IL-17 and APN levels in patients with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis increased, there may be a common origin of chronic inflammation in type 2 diabetes and subclinic al hypothyroidism.2.IL-17 has the potential to be early diagnostic marker to evaluate severity of il lness in patients with HT,which provide guidance for clinical diagnosis and treatme nt.
