The chemical composition and the antioxidant activity in vitro of Petroleum ether extract and Acetic ether extract from Tremella aurantialba fruiting bodies were studied in this paper.In chemistry, nineteen compounds were isolated from extract of Petroleum ether, Acetic ether and Butyl alcohol by employing column chromatograph, TLC, recrystallization techniques and Sephadex LH-20 column choromatography. Through their physicochemical properties and a variety of spectroscopic data(HNMR, CNMR, HMBC, HSQC, NOESY, COSY and MS), the structures of thirteen compounds were identified, including ethyl orsellinate(1)、butul isobutyl phthalate(2)、dibutyl phthalate(3)、butyl terephthalate(4)、 ergosterol(5)、α-monpalmitin(6)、(3β, 5α, 6α, 22E)-ergosta-7, 22-diene-3, 5, 6-triol-6-linoleate(7)、3β-hydroxy-22 E, 24R-5α, 6α-epoxyergosta-8, 22-diene-7-one(8) 、 ergosterol peroxide(9) 、3β-hydroxyl-24α-lanoster-31-O-α-D-glucose-8, 24-dien(10) 、 nicotinic acid(11) 、D-arabinitol(12)、D-mannitol(13). Compounds1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13 were isolated from Tremella aurantialba fruiting bodies for the first time, and compound 10 was new natural products.The volatile components of petroleum ether extracted from Tremella aurantialba fruiting bodies were analyzed by GC-MS. The results showed that 28 compounds were identified including aldehyde, ketones, ester, fatty acid and etc., among which the volatile components accounted for 75.77 percent, and the amount of acetic acid was relatively higher, representing 27.739 percent of the total content. N-Gaidicacid was in the second place at 8.821 percent, followed by n-Hexanoic acid at 4.674 percent. The contents of fatty acids were larger in these compounds. At present, many studies showed that the fatty acids had the effects of anti tumor, anti infection, prevention of diabetes, depression, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, senile dementia and etc., so it had certain research value.From the antioxidant activity aspect, the thesis compared the effects of antioxidant activity in vitro of the Petroleum ether extract and Acetic ether extract by Total antioxidant activity, DPPH free radical scavenging, ABTS free radical scavenging and Fe reducing power assays from Tremella aurantialba fruiting bodies. The results showed that Acetic ether extract was greater than the Petroleum ether extract from Tremella aurantialba fruiting bodies. However, compared with the commercial antioxidant BHT, the antioxidant activities of the crude extracts of the two layers were all lower than those of BHT. Probably the crude extract contained a number of substances which inhibited their antioxidant activity. The purpose of this experiment was that the crude extracts were analyzed, and then provide the theoretical basis to screen of natural, pollution-free antioxidants from the secondary metabolites of Tremella aurantialba fruiting bodies in the future.
