Objective To monitor the injured vertebral bone graft area CT value evaluation of thoracolumbar fractures the change of the vertebral body bone graft, to understanding the effect of bone graft, to find a feasible method for clinical evaluation of thoracolumbar fractures healed. Methods From December 2013 through December 2015, 32 patients with thoracolumbar burst fracture were treated by spinal canal decompression, pedicle fixation and thoracolumbar interbody bone graft. The participants were then followed up for medium-short term. According to the postoperative CT value on bone-grafting area, 32 patients were divided into two groups A and B.The 21 patient in Group A called low-density,the CT values between 400-500 HU and the 11 patients in group B called high-density,the CT values between 500-600 HU. Recorded the Cobb Angle of injured vertebral, vertebral compression rate and restoring rate and CT value of the bone graft area a week after operation, postoperative 1 week and 6th month. To analyze the CT value of injured vertebral after implanted bone fusion in thoracolumbar,to evaluate the clinical efficacy of bone graft.Results1The 32 cases patients were completed surgery successfully, wound without hematoma, infection, poor healing and severe allergic reactions in postoperative. the height of injured vertebra, correction of Cobb angle recovering well. The 21 patients in group A were no deformity, loose with pedicle screws in final follow-up. no obvious height-missing on injured vertebral body, no low density shadow by bone defect formation, the 11 patients in group B were lost 0.02° height of vertebral body averagely, 3 cases with low density shadow on bone defects and there is 1 case screw breakage.2According to Cobb angle, injured vertebral compression ratio, group A compared with B in the way, compared with the preoperative, postoperative 1 week and terminal follow-up P<0.05, the difference was statistically significant, suggesting A group and B group of postoperative wounded vertebral Cobb Angle, vertebral height have correction recovery;Terminal in the group and postoperative follow-up, compared to 1 week, there was no statistically significant difference, P>0.05 tip terminal follow-up compared with postoperative 1 week and injury in patients with vertebral Cobb Angle and no significant changes and vertebral height loss.Between group A and B way in postoperative 1 week and final follow-up P>0.05, there was no statistically significant difference, prompt group A compared with group B, postoperative wounded vertebral Cobb Angle, vertebral height restoration, curative effect can be thought of as roughly the same;3According to the two groups of patients with bone graft area CT value, A, B two way in comparison, terminal follow up and postoperative 1 week compared with CT value, P<0.05, the difference was statistically significant, suggest injured vertebral bone graft area at the time of terminal follow-up CT value was significantly higher in postoperative 1 week and can be thought of bone graft area density increases, as bone mass increases;Between A and B way compared postoperative week 1 CTvalue(P<0.05,thedifference was statistically significant, postoperative 1 week after graft area density that B group was obviously higher than that of group A.Compared to final follow-up CT values between groups(P>0.05, there was no statistically significant difference, prompt density while density lower than group B,but the group A at the time of the final follow-up, the CT value measured density value roughly equal.Conclusion1In clinical vertebral body bone graft, postoperative CT value of injured vertebral bone graft area between 400-500 hu, plant density, the effect of bone graft has been able to achieve good bone healing, and CT value of more than 500 hu, bone graft bone and cavity formation may lead to death, affect the risk of bone healing.2Using the CT value to some extent, can reflect the progress of bone healing, is a feasible way of judging bone healing.
