Synthesis Of Aurone Derivatives Probes

Aurones is a kind of rare flavonoids, it was reported that aurones have wide range of biological activities, such as antiinflammatory,.analgesic, inhibition of cellproliferation, anticancer, immunosuppression, inhibition of aldose reductase, remission and cure the comprehensive of diabetes, antiaging etc. Aurones, which have been used to detect the occurrence of senile dementia, belong to styrylben molecular probes which is one of the hot spots in the field of biomedicine . In this paper, we have studied the synthesis of aurones.Eighteen aurone derivatives were synthesized from 4-substituted phenols successively by substitution, hydrolyzation, chlorination, Friedel-Crafts reaction, aldolic condensation. All the compounds were identified by ~1HNMR and IR, and nine compounds were firstly reported. Orthogonal design method was employed to optimize conditions of the Friedel-Crafts reaction and different catalysts on this reaction were also researched.
