Study Of Xiang Hongzuo And His <Yiyun Ci>

Xiang Hongzuo(1798-1835), from Qiantang, Zhe Jiang with a primitive nameJizhang,changed name to Tingji while he was also called Liansheng by his style name.He sorted off his original manuscripts of Chinese Song Poem into an anthology whichwas named <Yi Yun Ci, Edition One to Four>. This eassy focuses on the study of <YiYun Ci>, its author and background knowledge by analysing his Song Poems andrelated historical accounts of past events; Through investigation from his way ofexpressing emotion, we will be able to find out the artistic characteristics of <Yi YunCi> and the author sentimental expression style; Based on intensive reading andunderstanding text, we can discuss the importance of imitation from other SongPoems in the literature creative work and the author’s perspectives on the Song Poemitself.
