The ecological environment was deteriorating with continued population growth，increased confliction between people and land， and recession of peasant economy in the firsthalf of last century. The AnPing people developed handicraft and vice industry to share thepressure in the subsistence economy and the badly environment， as a result they formed theunique economy development model and survival skills. This article will state from theperspective of rural ecosystems and agro-ecosystems change and paper’s background basedon ecological environment and survival. The article’s main line is focus on the frequentnatural disasters and farmer’s appropriate measures. Based on the centre of subsistenceeconomy of survival skills in AnPing and from commercialize of agricultural production andprofessional of traditional industries to reveal how to interact between “fragile" ecologicalenvironment and survival skills in the Anping area of modern times (even in the NorthChina).What’s more the paper also appointed that in order to survive the people continue toimprove their skills in conditions of deteriorating ecological environment. With thecontinuous improvement of the survival skills then the bearing capacity of the ecologicalenvironment was improved， all of these make the ecological carrying space expand. Theauthor believes that a variety of survival skills in the subsistence economy is driven by’HuTuo River’ the center of the ecological environment，and in quite a long time whichdominated the disaster， agriculture， industry development in AnPing.
