The Ethical Dilemma Of Online Communication And Its Introspection

Communicative activity, as one of the basic ways of social existence, accompanieswith the progress of human society. With the development of internet technology, Networkappears and has a profound influence on human society. The development of networktechnology provides a new communication mode, and builds a new platform for people.But because of the virtual characteristic of network communication, the ethical moralcodes which regulate human behavior in realistic communication does not work at onlinecommunication. Due to the unethical behavior in the process of communication, networkcommunication is in a dilemma, which to some extent constrains the relationship amongpeople. Online communication is a new type of interpersonal relationship. It is necessaryto find a way to work it out from the perspective of Marxist philosophy, and we hopeMarxist philosophy can provide us some useful thoughts and suggestions to step out ofethical dilemmas. Therefore, this research has important theoretical significance andpractical significance.This thesis studies the ethical dilemma of online communication and on the basis ofMarx and Habermas’ communication theory, it tries to do some philosophy thinking tosolve the ethical dilemma. First, I present all of the studies on the ethical dilemma ofonline communication and find some more mature theories for further research. Thesecond chapter is the basic research, which expounds the related basic theory ofcommunication and network communication and makes preparations for the core contentof the writing. The third chapter is the most important part of this article. This paperelaborates Marx’s and Habermas’ communication theory, analyzes the ethical dilemmacharacterization of network communication from different angles and finds out reasons.Finally, on the basis of the above theoretical analysis, some philosophical thinking to stepout of this dilemma is proposed and theoretical exploration for all-round development ofhuman being and healthy development of online is also explored.By adopting the scientific method of the unity of history and logic, this papercombines normative research and positive research, and uses Marx’s practical philosophy as the guiding ideology. Based on the concept of communication, this thesis studies of theconcept,ethical dilemma, and reasons that cause ethical dilemma of online communicationin order to reveal that this new way of social existence brings changes to human valuesand ways of thinking and it has a great influence on social development.
