The Development Dilemma Of Contemporary Chinese Animation From The Cultural Perspective

At the late of20thcentury, globalization became the hot topic of academic circle. With thedevelopment of modern technology and cultural industry, the art of animation is getting mature. As animportant form of culture, it has to be involved into the cultural globalization. In this background, theindustry of animation flourishes both in and abroad， and has a fierce competition. With adevelopment nearly years, Chinese cartoon has been glorious in the field of animation, which formeda "Chinese school" animation. In recent years Chinese animation has obtained some progress, but alsofaced a lot of difficulties.This paper starts from the macro theoretical category and the micro practical details and tries toconduct a deep cultural research on the development of Chinese animation so as to form a correct ideafor the development of cultural animation.The research methods of this paper are: literature review， comparative research and case study.The paper is divided into five parts:Part One: introduction. It mainly introduces the research origin, research content, researchpurpose, research meanings, research thoughts and research methodology.Part Two: research on the cultural origin and development of Chinese animation. Firstly, itdiscussed the cultural origin and foundation of Chinese animation; secondly, it clarifies the period ofthe connection of Chinese animation and warmth and its development.Part Three: the cultural development of Chinese animation in international perspective. Firstly, itshows the importance of Chinese animation culture through the classical animation case analysis;secondly, it’s a theoretical discussion; thirdly, explore Chinese cartoon culture gene through thebrilliant period of recognition at home and abroad of China’s classical animation, in order to thinkcontemporary Chinese cultural animation development’s dilemma performance and cause analysisthrough the success of cultural gene; finally, find out the reasons for Chinese animation in thedevelopment of cultural dilemma.Part Four: the cultural development of Chinese animation in international perspective. Itconducts a cultural analysis on the advantages of the development of animation in America and Japanrespectively; then draws lessons from them.Part Five: exploration on strategies of the development of Chinese animation originates fromculture. It proposes the connotation of culture， the strategy of insisting on and innovating the culturalstyle of animation， the strategy of both the localization and internationalization of the text ofanimation and the strategy of the consistency of cultural animation and time. It also proposes theprospect of the development of the cultural style of Chinese animation.
