The Comparison Of Play Techniques Of Beethoven’s And Shostakovich’s Two Violoncello Sonata

This paper research playing techniques features of Beethoven’s C Major for Cello and Piano Sonata and Shostakovich’s D Minor for Cello and Piano Sonata by comparison. First of all,this paper analyze the differences and similarities of two songs from the slow movement of the bow allocation, multi-note melody development,happy chapter arm strength, soft landing and playing symbols.Then,this paper analyze the two songs playing techniques from angles of intensity, pace and the bow speed control.Through the analysis of this paper, executants could have a more in-depth understanding and mastery on playing techniques.
