Relative to the vision and audition, the experience of tastes has been on the verge of the study of the aesthetic theory. The cause of this result is on two-sided, on one hand, one’s instinct experience of tastes’ own instincts is the main reason, such as subjective, scientific nature, and so on; on the other hand, the historical developments in the process of the construction of the theoretical system also lead to the result.In western countries, as a result of the hierarchical senses of traditional theory are restricted, the experiences of tastes are often undervalued in the study of aesthetic theory. In China, due to the uniqueness and complexity of aesthetic itself, the study of taste experience tend to make "taste" category be purely expression in the field of spirit and aesthetic concept, however, the meaning of the taste experience sensory level are ignored. What’s more, combined with the influence of western translation, the experience of tastes own characteristics in China also has not been fully excavated.Nowadays, with the development of our society, it is necessary to repositioning the characteristics of it, which is not only the requirement of the modernity of the aesthetic, but also is the social practice of the development of the diet culture.For China, it’s Chinese scholars’unshakable responsibility to study the aesthetic of the experience of taste. First of all, China is known as the "kingdom of delicacy", with highly developed diet culture, there’s no doubt that provides sufficient resources for Chinese taste research. Secondly, during the ancient aesthetic theory study of China, there have been a lot of "taste" theory about poetry and art, and Chinese aesthetic attribution to the research on "taste" field have also been quite productive, which provides a foundation in the theory research for Chinese. Moreover, unlike the western emphasis on logical and intelligent, Chinese put more emphasis on the intuitive perception and experience thinking; no doubt this provides a way of thinking to the taste experience study. Meanwhile, we should also be aware that studying the experience of taste can help to change the trends.that domestic theory see eye to eye on foreign theory research, what is more, it also can provide an opportunity for the taste theory combine with the diet culture and cuisine.This thesis consists of the introduction and three chapters. The introduction briefly describes the research of the experience of taste and introduces the reason that why we should do some research, meanwhile, expounding the research ideas of this paper, in order to finish a relatively comprehensive and systematic study on this problem.The first chapter discusses the relationship between diet and the experience of taste, to explore the opportunity that how the experience of taste can develop into sensory experience to aesthetic theory, discussing the features and aesthetic attributes of the experience of tasteThe second chapter discusses how the experience of taste can be built in the process of auditory theories, and from the viewpoints of both the west and China, analyzing the status differences between the Chinese and western theoretical research.The last Chapter discusses the relationship between the modern aesthetics and the taste experience. The study based on the social cultural of the experience of taste, and this chapter mainly involves the theory, art and life.
