As the result of the fusion of narratology and feminism, the feminist narrative hasprovoked a lot of controversies since its debut in the world of literature. These disputesoriginate not only from the connotation of the very same concept and its denotation, but alsofrom its corresponding political, cultural and social influences and consequences. Theelaboration of the present paper departs from defining “narrative perspective”, this conceptfrom classical narratology. Through analyzing the relationship among “the narrator”,“theimplied author” and “the narrative perspective”, the paper tries to confirm the argument thatthe narrator decides the narrative perspective. Continuously, the paper works on allphysiological and psychological characteristics of female narrators reflected in novelistic texts. At last, basing on the comparison and analysis of physical and physical features of women inreal life and in literary texts, the paper gets to approve that female narrative perspective doesnot exist as the final conclusion. This paper is divided into four chapters, with the objective to verify the final conclusioncited above. The first chapter gives a brief introduction about the researching methodologyapplied within and out of the country, the present investigation status of the theme and relatedinnovative points of view. Chapter Two mainly defines “narrative perspective”,“narrator”and “implied author”, and argues about that the narrator decides the narrative perspective. Thenext chapter works on characteristics summaries of female narrators with the analysis ofvarious texts, where writers of different genders have created these literary figures. TheChapter Fourth focuses on the comparison of female characteristics in real life and in thefiction contexts. By applying the theories of Foucault and others authors on studies ofpolitical, historical and social reasons that are similar in these two conditions mentionedbefore, we reach the final conclusion that female narrative perspective does not exist.During the process of investigation, the present paper has applied social-historymethodology, tools of biographies, hermeneutics and feminist cultural approachesalternatively. This work questions the existence of a traditional female perspective and thentries to find out the truth of the issue by studying anterior argumentations and formingconclusions of the proper author, and ultimately, offers us a relatively new point of view forfeminism to understand the restriction and oppression that the patriarchy assumes to women.
