Since the mid twentieth Century,with the rise of feminism,it set off a "rediscovered" history tide of outstanding female writers forgotten by history,womenwriters has once again aroused attention of scholars and critics.In eighteenthCentury,Britain appeared a lot of professional female writers after Aphra Behn in17thcentury,and a famous female writer Haywood,representative of "blue socks" femalewriters including Francis Sheridan,Sarah Fielding,Charlotte Smith, Charlotte Lennox,and after Frances Burney and Mary Wollstonecraft in18th century.Compared with male writers, female writers are usually more concerned aboutmarriage and family life,and pay more attention to women’s living space and livingcircumstances,women writers have picked up the pen to begin hard writing career,because they are in much patience censure indifferent taunt rebuke writing.They havethe courage to hold the pen to resist the patriarchal societ by writing to expose andcriticize the inequalities for the right to political participation, the pursuit of economicindependence,and improving family status and rights of marriage for men andwomen,actively advocating equality between men and women in receiving education. ineighteenth Century,British women writers’ fruitful writing for a century is not only laidthe foundation for women’ prosperity in19th century,but also their own consciousnessalso helps the women to fight for their rights.
