A long time, due to the strong impact of the unified culture, the historical personality and significance of the local culture are gradually fading out the cultural research. Ignoring of local cultural research, the local literature is even more rare, edged and invalidated. In my opinion, this is an imbalance state of cultural studies due to lack of local cultural research. If we locate the local culture at Meso level and thus consider its role and influence on local literature, the value of local cultural research may be substantially different. In other words, we can try to clarify the interacted relationship of the local culture and mainstream culture through the establishment of the theoretical framework of Meso culture. In this way, we may find the new value and new meaning of these seemingly edged unfamiliar literatures, and become them a new platform or a new universe of local literature research. As concrete examples, I attempt to study Li Genxiang living in Philippine and his poetry "Chunshu Study" and my hometown Fuzhou Overseas cultural literature to unscramble and illuminate the description and explanation of Fuzhou local literature of Fuzhou Overseas culture by contrasting the local literature researches related to the history books, local history, genealogy etc., and combining with some of the results of the folklore research. I try to do some preliminary comparative analysis of the historical formation and cultural characteristics of Fuzhou overseas cultural, as well as Chinese traditional cultural heritage and variation. On this basis, I put forward my own view on local literature of local cultural research.
