With the development of Chinese economy, China and Cambodia’s exchanges become frequently, more and more students choose to study Chinese in China, Kampuchea students affected by the native language and interlanguage, in the process of learning Chinese will appear a series of problems. At present, it is blank for learners of Chinese vowel acquisition, based on the ten Chinese primary level of Kampuchea learners and ten Chinese native speakers’pronunciation material, and based on Shi Feng for different levels of vowel classification method, with the sound pattern theory and Nankai University’s "MiniSpeech-Lab", Excel, SPSS and others softwares, Kampuchea learners acquisition of Chinese one, two, three and and four vowels were analyed. Through the analysis, in order to make the help and improve for Kampuchea students in learning Chinese.This thesis consists of eight chapters, can be divided into five parts:the first part, introduction. First, clear the origin of the topic, based on Vowel Acquisition Studay and foreign language acquisition theory, determine the research methods and ideas in this paper. The second part, carry on the contrast to the phonetic system of Chinese and Cambodian. The third part, with the acquisition of Chinese one, two, three and four vowels carry on the accuracy, focused and systematic analysis. The fourth part, through the analysis of the Kampuchea language vowels, summed up the Kampuchea’s errors in the acquisition of Chinese, and puts forward the corresponding teaching strategies. The fifth part, the conclusion. based on the former’s analysis point out problems at present and need to do the research in the future.
