Research On Lu Chen’s Literature

Lu Chen was born in an old and well-known family in Fanyang. He had experienced from “south” tothe “north”. During the existence of the Western Jin Dynasty to the collapse of the Western Jin Dynasty, hewas one of the northern writers who had a few literary works preserved in the North writer. although thenumber was small, Lu Chen’s works were highly representative. His five poems were included by WenXuan, his poems were also listed in The Poetry.According to the book of Wenxindiaolong, it is full of loveand science. Nowadays Lu Chen is less concerned by academic world, this thesis tries to start from a four-part study on it.t.The first chapter combs and probes into the life experience of lu’s experience and divides its creationstage. Before the decline of the Western Jin, Lu Chen followed his father to live in Luoyang.After that thewhole family went to north to attacheto Liu Kun. Then he started his career in Youzhou. Writer’s ideas havea certain impact on the creation. Nurtured by family traditions of Confucianism and Western Jinmetaphysics Ruran by popular culture, Lu Chen had created a mysterious Confucianism which combinedwith both ideas, these two ideas affected the creation directly. Combining life experience and worksideological content, the creation of Lu’s period can be divided into two phases, namely, phases ofdepartment of the state and the north.The second chapter explores the full features and changes of Lu Chen’s poetries. The poetry subjectsmainly are comprised of reposing gloomy mood recollections poems in the department state time, northperiod touching sincere conversation poems and fill the heroic feelings chants the ancient poetry,and thesubjects has changed in “by southing north” process. Poems reveal the truth, filled with feelings ofhelplessness and pessimism.These two kinds of feelings were mainly influenced by the social climate of thelater Western Jin dynasty and the objective reality. Using a variety of artistic techniques, such asatmosphere build, good temper, flexible use of various rhetorical words and the like to make poetry toachieve good effect, with obvious characteristics of the Western Jin Dynasty.From this we may explain Luchen had carried on Western Jin Dynasty’s creation method. During the process from south to north, thechanges of the poetry appeared, but his work still had the Western Jin Dynasty characteristic. The third chapter is mainly based on the sudy of Lu Chen’Fu and the article. Lu Chen’s Fu has widerange of topics, resigning mining gorgeous, sincere emotion, delicate composition, followedthe Fu’s features of the Western Jin Dynasty scholar. Moreover, the content of Lu Chen’s article is real,emotion is sincere. In addition, it has been fully illustrated, namely has “the principle illustriously”characteristic.The fourth chapter, this thesis highlights the literary features of Lu’s change and in the process ofliterature’s position, by comparing with writers at the same period, with the same experience. Comparedwith Guo Pu, whose poetry was romantic,rich of emotion and ideological content. His achievement washigher than Lu Chen,he was famous as "resurgence of the crown". Compared with him, Lu chen’s literarywork favors the reality; Compared to Liu Kun,Lu Chen was slightly weaker. Though two people perishedin the disorder mourning in the situation, they sent the language to change countenance sadly, expressed inwriting the life sighing woefully, the Liu jade’s work emotion was more profound, inheriting the Jiananpoetry style,The analysis shows that because of the life experience changes the western Jin dynasty scholar lu’sliterary works in terms of creative theme, emotional concentration also have changed. however the artisticcreation are still manufactured by the Western Jin Dynasty. Compares to Guo and Liu,Lu chen’s works aretransitional.
