Considering the different situations in different language environments(non-target language environment and target language environment), the writer has conducted a research and comparison of primary stage students to find six similarities and differences of Chinese character learning strategies in this two language environments.After collecting and analyzing data, the writer tries to find the reasons which caused the similarities and differences above.Based on the comparison, the writer still tries to find reasons which caused the similarities and differences, such as students cognition, different language environment, mother language transfer and so on.In addition, we also conducted a survey of efficiency about Chinese characters learning strategies,try to summarize some teaching methods which include parts analysis and contrastive analysis;focused literacy recognition method and character riddles guessing; font, sound and meaning matching; coping writing; word formation discrimination. This teaching methods can guide students in how to use correct and effective learning strategies and establish the best mode of teaching Chinese characters.
