Juvenile delinquency has become a serious social problem in term of harmfulness, and how to prevent it becomes the hot issue of social concern. This study used comparative experiments to explore the difference of Response inhibition between ordinary high school student and juvenile delinquent. Objective:to explore the characteristics of juvenile criminals and ordinary middle school students in inhibiting; different characteristics of response inhibition on SSD; to explore the characteristics of SSD in a dynamic rendering the response inhibition. This study consisted of two experiments. Experiment one:explore the characteristics of response inhibition on inhibiting function and in different stop signal delay (SSD) between Juvenile delinquents and the ordinary high school students. This experiment2(subjects Type: Juvenile Offenders and ordinary high school students)×5(SSD:150ms,200ms,250ms,300ms,350ms) mixed experimental design, subjects were tested between the variable type, SSD is being within-subject variables. Conclusion:The reaction probability of juvenile delinquents is higher than than the middle school students’, and with the increase of SSD, the reaction probability also increases. Experiment two:to explore the characteristics of juvenile criminals and ordinary middle school students in inhibiting; different characteristics of response inhibition on SSD. This experiment adopts2(subjects types:juvenile, middle school students) x2(incubation period type:stop signal response latency, without a stop signal response latency) mixed experimental design, the types of Incubation period are within subject factors, and Factors between subjects. Conclusion:there is no difference between middle school students of grade. From the perspective of SSRT response inhibition.Although two experiments adopted the stop signal paradigm, there is a difference in the SSD. Experiment one divided SSD into different levels, aimed to make inhibitory function diagram. Experiment2uses the dynamic change of SSD mainly in order to get a uniform SSRT, so as to compare with the control group. Conclusion:It is higher in the juvenile delinquents in each SSDS reaction probability than middle school students;Juvenile and middle school students’ response to the signal test time probability increases with the extension of the SSD;We found no difference among all grades high school students on the response inhibition;Juvenile response inhibition ability is more poorthan high school students.
