A Brief Analysis Of How Different Regional Characters Inlfuences The Image Landscape Oil Painting

The image landscape oil painting is the drawing style and subject whichmany artists are keen to. The vast territory in China, various districts, geographicenvironments and cultures build up different landscapes and art of different cultures. Inthe domain of culture and art, based upon the specificity where artists grow up, theirartworks always reflect the place they grow up. Hence, the image landscape oil paintingshows particular regional characters.The subject of this article is based on various regional characters of different placesin China, and mainly analyzes how do regional characters play a role in the imagelandscape painting. Moreover, the author is attempt to elaborate the influence ofregional characters in the image landscape oil paintings from different artists viaresearching and analyzing the specificity of different regional cultures and geographicenvironments, and in this way, the research will guide the direction of my research andartwork. Indeed, the artists grown up in different places should pay close attention totheir hometown, live their lives with hearts, feel the beauty of nature, and createartworks which reflect contemporaneity and creativity.There are five chapters in this article. This article will be mainly focused on howdifferent regional characters of the South and the North influence the image landscapeoil painting. The image landscape oil painting is the development and return afterChinese artists learn from the combination of both Chinese and Western art. After theclash of tradition and modern, and different cultures in the East and the West, theChinese image landscape oil painting is always based on Chinese culture, and isdeveloped in the process of art making. Because of the trend of cultural diversity, theChinese image landscape oil painting can only be sustainably developed rooted inelaborating the specific Chinese regional characters.
