Study Of Philosophical Irony

Abstract:The discussion about irony(which as one of a key term of western literary theory) have never been stop. The dimension of the interpretation about irony have been changed from a figures of speech,to the literary view,to the study under the Linguistics and Applied Linguistics.The discussions relates to many fields such as the Western philosophy, the Theory of literature, Aesthetics and Semiotics and so on. Throughout the domestic and foreign research results, those dimension of the study about irony almost based on the above dimensions. Meanwhile, there seems to be few people set out to the systematic discussion about irony in the philosophy. This papers aims to study the "Philosophical Irony ",which have been regarded as a kind of cognitive style and an kind of attitude of life, as the main line to the kierkegaard’s view on irony, based on the theory carding on the keywords "irony", others may call it "General Irony","World Irony" or "Cosmic Irony".The keywords of this papers,"Philosophy Irony",can dates back to view about "General Irony" started by the English scholar D·C·Mike. Based on the" Infinite absolute negativity."(comes from kierkegaard), contacting to some famous philosophers and producing some independent thinking. The papers said:the "Philosophy Irony" containing some certain negative which involves the social and historical reality, the life and the metaphysical level. Besides, in my opinion the "Philosophy Irony" also contains some certain constructive.The papers includes5chapters to show the connotation of "the Philosophy Irony "and the embodiment of the famous philosophers’ideology. The first chapter is the research reviewed.The second chapter contains the following questions:1define "the Philosophy Irony", points out its negative and constructive so that we can discuss it under a particular range.2Introduces the process of its put forward, the development and the formation of "the Philosophy Irony". It is a diachronic investigation of "the Philosophy Irony".The third chapter contains some questions like this:1. clarify kierkegaard’s view on irony and manifest the theory of "Infinite absolute negativity".2.Show the image of Socrates in the eye of Kierkegaard and his highly praise of "the Infinite absolute negativity" which be regarded as Socrates’ view on irony. The fourth fifth chapter aims to analyze the philosophical view of the contemporaries and the philosophers after Kierkegaard such as Heidegger, Sartre and Camus to Kierkegaard both based on the negative and constructive comes from "the Philosophy Irony". Explores the influence to their literary creation, and the attitude towards life under the view of "the Philosophy Irony", and the projection in the literary work, and the influence on the later literary contact to their specific work. The last chapter is a summarize to the full text:repeated the discovery of this papers, points out the deficiency and give some advices to later researchers.
