The Anglo-Saxon period is an important period of British history, all aspects ofmeaning of the social development, research in the city problem, many domestic andforeign scholars focus on Eleventh Century, and in this period less dealt with, Thisarticle based on the city in Anglo-Saxon England development as the research object,the comprehensive application of sociology and history such knowledge, combinedwith years of domestic and foreign scholars achievements on this period of city, thethree factors to promote the development of the town are introduced and summarizedthis period the town development.The first chapter mainly discusses the domestic and foreign scholars discuss aboutthe Anglo-Saxon kingship in city development role.
