During the1950’to1960”s,a bunch of young American designers began to add the combinationof photography and illustration to planar designs,They meant to vividly express their own ideas,combinedesign with art,and offer sensible effects in planar design.The Stud Studio was the most influential then.Itwas established by Seymour Chwast and Michel Grassay from the Cooper Art Academy. They developedthe conceptual image design in America by combining photography with illustration and they are reckonedas the pioneers of American planar design.And this is the stud style.Veronique Vienne.Americanwriter.once said:the four of then are lik the Beetles who have amazing symphony and construction theydon’t cooper as the Beetles do,but they respectively created their own personal style in production.And,atthe same time,they are leading the planar design in America and they world”They are still working in thefrontier of this field by virtue of their own art.Every piece of art is a demonstration of art is a demonstrationof their aesthetic quality and faculty.This paper is about the personal conceptual design features in the design style of the Studstudio.In the first part,I interpret the growth of conceptual design major characteristics and birth of personalconceptual design in American design. As well as its representatives and their works. In the second part, Ianalyze the personal conceptual image design in the stud studio. In the third part, I deal with the peoplerelated to personal conceptual image design in the stud style and the influence of conceptualism of designschools.In the last part,I construe the influence of the localized designs in America on the change ofpersonal conceptualism in the stud style.
