College Students’ Chinese Written Communication Pragmatic Competence Cultivation

Abstract:As the backbone elements of inheriting Chinese national culture, university students are the most excellent group of reserving, innovating and leading the Chinese language.The Chinese written communication is the important clannel,As a College student. The written communication of Chinese university students is a very important communication channel. As computer science widely spreads and communication technology rapidly develops, they concentrate increasingly on widely spreads and communication technology rapidly develops, they concentrate increasingly on the Internet in their daily life and study, which becomes an important carrier of their writing communication. Traditional media like QQ and message stills works effectively, while new ones like micro-blog suddenly rises as a new force. The emerging of new media brings the writing communication of the Chinese language from the behind the curtain to the front stage.On the one side, the diversity of the Chinese language writing communication makes the writing communication of university students more and more frequent. On the other side, it also exposes the fault and inefficiency of their writing communication:they ignore the grammar, use vulgar vocabulary and behave improperly.Therefore, the cultivation of their ability of writing communication becomes extremely urgent.The cultivation of the Chinese writing community of university students serves as an important part of the whole education for all-around development. We need to not only develop their high taste through reading classic works, but also to innovate the cultivating methods for their tastes. The key to develop the systematic cultivation of their linguistic taste is to set up an educational system which penetrates into cultural and social customs and an excellent pragmatics environment based on the organizations, which enables students to grasp the pragmatic rules of writing communication and to develop their ability to apply their language knowledge. Thus, they can use the writing language properly and elegantly and successfully in their writing communication.
