Vocal work Chang Xiang Zhi, one song in Yuefu songs of the Han Dynasty Rao Ge, is one Chinese classical art song on love which was created by one Chinese famous composer Mr Shi Fu based on ancient Yuefu poetry of the Han Dynasty Shang Xie. The whole song frankly speaks the minds of the writer and expresses the enthusiastic pursuit and unwavering dedication of a woman to love. This work combines the essence of literature and art, adopts simple and elegant tunes, skillfully combines the techniques of classic Chinese Operas, and incisively and vividly expresses the Chinese classical charm. Therefore, the work is regarded as one classical repertoire of practice, competitions and concerts by vocal learners and enthusiasts and can measure the vocal technique and artistic accomplishment of a singer. This paper analyzes the musical features and artistic connotation of Chang Xiang Zhi and combines the author’s understanding of this work to propose the singing skills of this song and issues to be paid attention during the process of singing and provide a reference for the singers of this song, so as to enable the singers to grasp the style and characteristics of this work and complete the singing of this work in an even better fashion.
