Subjective well-being is included two parts—cognitive well-being and emotionalwell-being.Emotional well-being refers to the emotional quality of an individual’severyday experience—the intensity of experiences of joy, stress,sadness,anger,andaffection that make one’s life pleasant or unpleasant.Life evaluation refers to thethoughts that people have about their life when they think about it. Life satisfactionscale and life evaluation scale are usually be used to measure the cognitivewell-being.Emotional well-being is usually be measured by emotion scale.Thisresearch uses empirical methods, explore the relationship between income andsubjective well-being, at the same time add material affluence and time affluence,analysis the relationship between these variables. The results of this study showedthat:1,Income has significant positive prediction on happiness2,No significant correlation between income and positive emotions,but incomehas significant negative prediction on negative emotions.3,Material affluence play a partial intermediary role in the relationship of incomeand cognitive well-being and negative emotions.4,Time affluence and material affluence have an interaction in the relationship ofincome and negative emotions. In this model,Material affluence play a partialintermediary role in the relationship of income and negative emotions and timeaffluence play a moderator role in the relationship of material affluence and negativeemotions.5,The analysis of demographic variables shows that,gender, age,educationbackground, marriage,children affect subjective well-being.
