The Study On Variation Of Modern Chinese "VO+O" Structure Between China Mainland And Taiwan District

In this paper, the Modern Chinese "VO+O" structure is the research object.We will use corpus analysis, contrast analysis, statistical analysis and the otherresearch methods, trying to describe and discuss the characteristics anddevelopment of the Modern Chinese "VO+O" structure between China Mainlandand Taiwan district.This paper is an empirical research based on corpus. We pay efforts to explainand clear up the Modern Chinese "VO+O" structure between China Mainland andTaiwan district, through CCL corpus and Academia Sinica Balanced Corpus ofModern Chinese. The article starts from the perspectives of diachronic andsynchronic. On the diachronic side, on behalf of80’s, we count up and analyze theusage the on both sides of China mainland and Taiwan district on "VO+O"structure. On the synchronic side, we investigate semantics and pragmaticsbetween two places of the commonness and differences. This paper sum up thedevelopment and generation mechanism of "VO+O" structure in modern Chinese,and make a vocabulary table by a quantitative means of "VO+O" structure. It willbe helpful for the further understanding of the structure.
