Research On Sound Designing For Animated Videos Using ’Love Is Drug’ As An Example

Animation is an expression of art delivering its message from all perspectives. Abrilliant one should be equipped with outstanding images and accurate sound effects,thus when these two factors are consistent with each other to a certain extent, itsartistic value and function could be realized to the most.This paper mainly focuses on the definite relation between the quality of soundeffect and the artistic value one animation possess through the means of illustratingthe function of sound effect itself and what contents it includes.In the meantime, the paper discusses the topics of applying various types ofmusic, sorts of sound effects in order to promote its expression in terms of visuallanguage and artistic value.The first part concentrates on the developing track of movies and television,aiming at analyzing the origins and features of visual and sound arts, combining thetwo when it comes to applying in animated videos, studying its purpose, contents andmethods via related examples done overseas.The second port emphasizes more on the actual application of sound effects in ananimation, and the discussion starts from the advancing process of Chineseanimations’ sound effect and its characteristics, considering its flaws thoroughly.The third part demonstrates factual cases, analyzing how world knownanimation studios balance the role of visual and sound effects, concluding informationand absorbing experience from it.The last part is combined with a study project, by creating and designing,presenting every detail of producing an animation and how sound effects and audiolanguage work for an animated art piece.
