Translation Of Metaphors In Management Works

The full use of metaphors is one of the features in management works. On the basis ofthe theory about metaphors by George Lakoff and Mark Johnson, taking the translation ofThinking Strategically for an example, this paper classifies the metaphors into three groups andanalyzes the different translation strategies for a certain group, thus establishing the principles fortranslation of metaphors in management works.
