The Culture Of Mao Nan Sub Dragon Festival In The Perspective Of Ecological Aesthetics

Sub Dragon Festival is one of the ancient and grand festivals of Maonan in Guangxi Huanjiang Maonan Autonomous County. It carries the aspirations of the Maonan’s pray for good weather and a bumper grain harvest, and it can be said to be the product of the Maonan ancestors’ worship of the nature, and it embodies a concentrated reflection of traditional culture psychology, ecological wisdom, the national spirit and culture of Maonan. It is the window for our understanding of Maonan people’s production and living and thinking. It has a close relationship between the living environment and the tradition of cultural and Maonan sub Dragon Festival, which contains rich ecological aesthetic potential. The object of the study of ecological aesthetics is the aesthetic relationship between man and the nature, man and society and man itself. From the perspective of ecological aesthetics to the study of Maonan sub Dragon Festival,we try to find the relationship between the emergence of sub Dragon Festival and the Maonan’ survival and it’s cultural tradition, and the ecological aesthetic value of the Dragon Festival culture, and to explore the theory of the aesthetic activities of sub Dragon Festival culture.It is not only a meaningful attempt on the development of sub dragon,but also an another example of application research on the aesthetic cultures of the mi n o r i t y na t i o n a l i t i e s ar e a s fo r ec o l o g i c a l ae s t h e t i c s.
