The Research About The Loss Of China’s Modern Culture And The Reconstruction Of China’s Contemporary Self-confidence Under The View Of Historical Materialism

In today’s world,cultural and economic mix together,which play a more and more important role in the competition of comprehensive national strength. A country or a nation which want to develop for a long time,it must to maintain its own cultural identity,guide and establish cultural self-confidence.With China’s sustained economic development,the social transformation intensified,all kinds of ethos surges, comes from a variety of social issues,and the most important is we don’t have the cultural self-confidence which can match with the development of the economic and politic. In the one hand,China’s international status and influence are increasing fast in nowadays,hat need to have the corresponding cultural soft power.In the other hand,various domestic social problems also need to be addressed by the culture base on core socialist values.Face various problems and dilemmas,cultural self-confidence is becoming the focus of china’s resurgent.This paper explores the development of cultural self-confidence of China in modern times from the angle of history,hope to provide certain reference for reconstruction of our cultural confidence. This paper is divided into three parts to introduce the loss and rebuilding of China’s cultural self-confidence. The first part defines the concept and the connotation of cultural self-confidence,to investigate the inheritance and development of culture in theory. The second part systematically investigated the process of lose of cultural confidence,and analyze the causes of loss of cultural self-confidence since modern China. The third part reviews the conclusion analyzes the significance of China’s contemporary reconstruction of cultural self-confidence,to explore the path and method of reconstruction of cultural self-confidence.
