The Reflection Of Taoism In Tujia Traditional Funeral Paintings

This article entitled <the reflection of Taoism in Tujia traditional funeral paintings >, intended to research the field research of traditional funeral painting of Tujia Hubei,to get more in-depth examples of Taoism impact of ideology on the Tujia culture, and to get more accurately explains of the performance of Taoism in Tujia funeral painting.This thesis divide into five chapters.the first chapter is an introduction of this thesis, includes such as the background of research,the purpose of research, and the significance of the research.The chapter 2 is a statement about “the relationships between the Taoist culture and the Tujia funeral paintings”. Tujia was influenced by Taoist culture, Tujia funeral painting is one way of the reflection of Taoism. The chapter 3 is the focus of this paper.The Tujia funeral painting shows many aspects of Taoism,such as “the immortal”,”the Cosmology”,”the Heaven concept”,and “the concept of life and death”.The fourth chapter is the analysis about the Tujia traditional funeral paintings of the Badong county and the Changyang couty in the western of Hubei of China.With the examples of the sign in Tujia traditional funeral paintings,to illustrate reflection of the Taoism. The chapter 5 is the summary of the conclusion and the Speech of thanks.
