Most because Munro not only describes the calmness of ordinary life, but also observes the invisible world under the calm life after she surveys the person’s mentality. This paper uses the inventiveness of Karen Horney’s female psychology and close reading to analyze the basic reason about females’ anxiety and fear in the complicated relationship and the floating heart of dream and memory is the contradiction between disciplines of women by social value system and the revolt of women to freedom and independence.
